Showed up on time, fixed our leaking faucet and a broken light fixture in under an hour. Honest pricing, very friendly. Will absolutely use again.

Hired them for a ceiling fan install and some drywall patching. Quality work, cleaned up after themselves. Best handyman experience I've had in Gilbert.

Great communication from booking to finish. The quote matched the final price exactly — no surprises. Highly recommend for anyone in Chandler.

Built by word of mouth, one neighbor at a time.

John grew up in Arizona and has spent the last 30+ years working with his hands — carpentry, tile, paint, electrical, and everything in between. It started at home in Gilbert, working on his own house and building furniture in the woodshop out back.

Neighbors started to notice. They'd stop by to ask about a piece he'd built, then come back the next week needing a hand with a leaky faucet, a tricky outlet, a bit of trim work. One favor turned into another, his name spread through the neighborhood, and before long he was running a real business — built to help other families in Gilbert and Chandler take care of the homes they live in.

Today it's still family run. John handles the work, his wife Diana keeps the schedule and the customers in the loop, and their kids are a big part of why they built it this way — rooted in trust, hard work, and community.

When John isn't on a job, you'll find him in the woodshop building furniture by hand, or in the garden with the family. That same patience and attention to detail is what shows up on every repair, remodel, and punch-list job we take on.

John's Gilbert woodshop

The woodshop in Gilbert.

On the weekends, you'll find John building custom furniture from hardwood in his home shop — coffee tables, cabinets, the occasional rocking chair. It's where the love of the craft started, and it's the same standard he brings to your home.

Four things we don't compromise on.

Honesty

Clear pricing and straight communication. No surprise line items, no upsells, no runaround — just what the job actually needs.

Quality

We don't cut corners — your home deserves better. Every cut, screw, and brush stroke gets the same care we'd give our own place.

Respect

We show up on time, do the job right, and leave the space cleaner than we found it. Your home gets treated like our home.

Connection

We want to be the people you call anytime — not just for one job. Most of our work comes from neighbors calling us back.

The rest of the family.

John runs every job on-site — but he doesn't do it alone. Here's who keeps the business running behind the scenes.

Diana Klohr
Co-Owner & Operations

Diana Klohr

Diana keeps the schedule running, answers the phone, and makes sure every customer gets a clear quote and a confirmed time. If you've ever booked with us, you've probably talked to her.

Scott Klohr
Operations & Systems

Scott Klohr

Scott supports the business side of the company — helping keep things organized, efficient, and running smoothly so John can stay focused on the work and the customers.
